Austin Taylor is an urbanist and environmental advocate based in Provo, Utah. He worked in the outdoor industry for three years doing fundraising for Bicycle Collective and directing its Provo shop which put over 1,000 people on bikes per year.
Austin currently works for Provo City as its Parking and Sustainability Coordinator, changing the culture and policies of Provo City from within little by little to be more sustainable.
In his free time, Austin manages communications for BikeWalk Provo and YIMBY Provo, two advocacy groups that promote active transportation and public transit, and smart urban development.
His interests include local politics, playing drums, and any kind of cycling–touring, road, mountain, fat, commuting; etc. Austin holds a BA degree from BYU in Latin American Studies, Nonprofit Management, and Music.
