Beth Yetter

Beth has been the Alta Ski Area Environmental Director for 2 years. Previous to Alta, Beth was in environmental consulting for 6 years before Alta working primarily with utility scale energy clients. Before moving to Utah in 2013, Beth worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in the environmental department. Beth graduated with a B.S. in Environmental and Soil Science from the University of Tennessee, and later went on to get a Master’s in Environmental Management with a focus in energy from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment.

Beth focuses on land conservation efforts and implementing sustainability initiatives in her position at Alta, as well as fostering partnerships, permitting and compliance, and managing the Forest Service trail system with the help of her staff and partners.
