Betsy Byrne

Betsy Byrne is a landscape architect with the National Park Service’s Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance Program.  She provides planning assistance on community-led outdoor recreation and conservation projects, and her work ranges from active transportation plans to conceptual site designs to protecting river corridors. A Utah native, Betsy is passionate about preserving and improving access to close-to-home recreation and open space in communities around the state. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Utah State University, and is happiest when biking up a canyon.
