David Robles is a Mexican-American mountain-biker living in Salt Lake City, Utah. He serves on the Salt Lake County Mountain Search & Rescue team and enjoys exploring the Wasatch Front on foot and bike. He is also a writer for Melanin Base Camp where his writing focuses on diversity in the outdoors, tips for recreational families, and gear reviews. He is truly an advocate for access and equity in all spaces.
David received his Master’s in Community Leadership from Westminster College and a Bachelors in Criminal Justice from Weber State University. He currently works as an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice and as a Social & Behavioral Science, Education, and Human Services Advisor for Salt Lake Community College.
