Jake joined the Utah Conservation Corps in December 2016, after directing Canyon Country Youth Corps for many years. He has a decade years of Conservation Corps experience and in his role with UCC he supervises the service programs while also developing partnerships around the state. After finishing his B.S degree in Park Management in Unity Maine, he traveled out west for his dream job in Yellowstone National Park. From that experience he got hooked on Youth Programs and has never looked back. He has had the pleasure to work for numerous Conservation Corps around the country and has dedicated his career to developing youth opportunities on public lands. He also serves on the board of the Colorado Plateau River Guides, and when not at work you can find him rafting remote rivers looking for the next restoration partnership.
