Betsy Byrne

NATIONAL PARK SERVICE'S RIVERS, TRAILS, AND CONSERVATION ASSISTANCE (RTCA) PROGRAM

Betsy Byrne is a landscape architect with the National Park Service’s Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance (RTCA) Program. She provides planning assistance on community-led outdoor recreation and conservation projects, and her work ranges from visitor use management issues to conceptual site designs to trail and river access plans. Betsy was part of a team that kick started the Utah Trails Forum and currently serves on the organizing committee. As a lifelong Utahn, Betsy is passionate about preserving and improving access to close-to-home recreation and open space in communities around the state.
