Kevin Stickelman

COO, National Ability Center

Kevin brings 20 years of ski industry and outdoor recreation experience to the National Ability Center. He served as President/General Manager at Lee Canyon ski area in Nevada for six years.  He also has ski industry experience at Mt. Bachelor, Moonlight Basin, Angel Fire, Park City Mountain Resort, and Snow Creek and spent four years at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, which is the premier high adventure base of the Boy Scouts of America. An amputee himself, Kevin has long been involved with adaptive recreation getting his first taste of learning to ski with the support of adaptive instructors in a small program in Missouri at age 11, and most recently serving on the Board of Directors for Oregon Adaptive Sports based in Bend, OR.  Kevin majored in engineering at Kansas State University and the University of Utah and holds professional certifications from the USSA as an alpine coach and PSIA as a level 3 certified ski instructor.  In his free time, Kevin can be found enjoying the outdoors with his wife and two daughters hiking, camping, fly fishing, playing golf, and skiing.
