Betsy Byrne

Landscape Architect, National Park Service - RTCA

Betsy Byrne is a landscape architect with the National Park Service’s Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance Program. She provides planning assistance on community-led outdoor recreation and conservation projects, including strategic planning, community outreach, and conceptual designs. Among other projects, she worked on the Cache County Trails and Active Transportation Plan, which recently received a Silver Planning Achievement Award for Transportation Planning at the 2019 APA National Conference. Betsy holds a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Utah State University, where she focused on active transportation, recreation and open space planning, and resilient community design.
