Brandon Stocksdale is a Community Planner with the National Park Service in the Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance (RTCA) Program. RTCA assists local communities around Utah and the rest of the country to plan and develop recreation and conservation projects. The NPS has helps communities in Utah with trail planning, river restorations, open space preservation, and environmental stewardship training. Brandon completed a graduate degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from Arizona State University in 2014. It has been Brandon’s dream to work for the National Park Service, and when not working to improve access to the outdoors, he enjoys exploring national parks and public lands throughout the West as an avid backpacker and camper.
