Dallen joined the Utah High School Cycling League in 2018 after serving in the United States Army for 32 years. He retired as a Brigadier General with a culminating assignment as the Commander of the Utah Army National Guard. The most rewarding aspect of his military service was training young men and women to accomplish more than they thought possible. Dallen got hooked on mountain biking over twenty years ago after spending a weekend in Moab. His department store bike fell apart on the first morning, so he rented a bike for the remainder of the trip and has been a recreational rider ever since. I have been all over the world, but when I see the Utah mountains from the airplane window; I know I’m coming home.
