Public Opinion Strategies Partner Lori Weigel has a unique niche as a “conservative conservationist.” She has polled extensively for conservation organizations, including The Nature Conservancy, the Trust for Public Land, Teddy Roosevelt Conservation Partnership, National Wildlife Federation, the Wilderness Society, among others. She co-conducts the annual State of the Rockies survey on behalf of Colorado College as well. This has included extensive research on public lands, climate change, land conservation, outdoor recreation, and water issues. She has presented research at numerous conferences and forums, including at the Outdoor Retailer show, at U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, NOAA, the Department of Interior, Department of Agriculture, the White House, Capitol Hill, and to the boards of TNC, NRDC, CGBD, and other conservation organizations. She lives in Golden, Colorado with her future biologist daughter and Major League Baseball player son.
