Rachel Nelson

President, Friends of Indian Creek

Rachel Nelson is currently an Environment and Society Adjunct Professor at Utah State University and is the President of Friends of Indian Creek and Greater Canyonlands; a climbing advocacy group based in Southeastern Utah.
Rachel received her B.S. in Environmental Science and Management from the University of California, Davis as well as her M.S. in Renewable Natural Resource Sciences from the University of Arizona.
In her spare time, Rachel runs numerous small businesses, and guides professionally. She lives in Moab, Utah.
