Raelene Davis has served as the vice president of marketing and operations for Ski Utah since 1985. In this capacity, Davis directs all Ski Utah marketing and promotional efforts locally, nationally and internationally. During her tenure, she has been instrumental in more than doubling the state’s skier visits. Davis is also the publisher of Ski Utah magazine, architect of Ski Utah’s successful 4th Grade Learn to Ski & Ride and 5th & 6th Grade Passport programs and co-founder and the leading force behind the National Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month and Bring a Friend initiatives.
Davis was an Olympic Torchbearer for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City, inducted into the Utah Tourism Hall of Fame in 2010 and the 2014 recipient of the North American Snowsports Journalist Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award. She is an accomplished photographer and served on the board of directors of the Intermountain Professional Photographers Association for ten years and as president of the association for two years. Davis enjoys skiing, golfing, traveling, cooking, baseball and spending time with family and friends. She is the mother of three sons and lives with her husband, Lyle in Salt Lake City.
