Hilary Lambert

Hilary is enthusiastic about connecting children of all ages and their families to the outdoors through hands-on, place-based experiential and environmental education opportunities, and expanding these opportunities to a wide audience in an equitable way.

An educator at heart, she has taught second grade and served as an Outdoor Program faculty member at the Waterford School in Sandy and taught first grade and served as a science curriculum development leader at the Madeleine Choir School in Salt Lake City.

Along with her work implementing the vision for equitable access to recreation and education for all with the Wasatch Mountain Institute, Hilary is currently an Environmental Education Consultant.

Her portfolio includes working with schools to design and use Nature Explore outdoor classrooms, teaching outdoor play and learning classes as a Tinkergarten Leader, and assisting with the Waterford School Outdoor Program. She also serves on the board of the Utah Ulster Project and as a member of the Millcreek Community Council and Millcreek Promise Leadership Team. Hilary has a BA in Geography from The University of Mary Washington and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Weber State University.
