Jake Palma

Jake Palma is the Monument Manager at Bears Ears National Monument for the Bureau of Land Management. His background is in planning and environmental coordination where he developed a true appreciation for the multiple uses of public lands by leading projects like the Bears Ears National Monument Management Plans, oil and gas leasing, recreation area management plans, travel management planning, and much more. When he is away from the office, you’ll generally find him exploring public lands with his family at ice fishing tournaments, deer hunting, camping, discovering canyons, or staring quietly in awe and respect in the shadows of Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings.
