Angelita (Angie) Bulletts is a member of the Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians and was raised in a four generation household in northern Arizona. Her love of the cultural landscape was instilled by her grandfather who lived with her family well into his 80’s. She attended Northern Arizona University and Grand Canyon University. Angie worked for her tribe as a cultural resources manager and eventually worked for the tribal council as the tribal administrator before entering federal service. She spent 23 years working for both the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Forest Service serving as a District Manager at Phoenix District and Southern Nevada District for the BLM. Angie was the first Native American to be selected as a BLM District Manager in 2009. She also spent eight years as the Forest Supervisor for the Dixie National Forest in addition to working in other capacities in two Forest Service regions. Angie continues to live in her hometown since retiring and has resumed assisting her Tribe but most of all she enjoys time with her grandchildren.
