Autumn Gillard (she/her), (maternal descendant from the Cedar Band of Paiutes of the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah), is an expert in Southern Paiute astronomy, ethnobotany and culture, She was raised by her grandmother and mother in a traditional home. Autumn graduated from Southern Utah University magna cume Laude with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Anthropology minoring in Psychology. She has a master’s degree from New Mexico Highlands University in Cultural Resource Management. She currently resides on the Kaibab Paiute Reservation.
