STUDENT MANAGER, FIELD SUPERVISOR | WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY OUTDOOR PROGRAM

In 2019 I transferred to Weber State University to study Mechanical Engineering. At the same time, I discovered rock climbing. This opened my eyes to the world of outdoor recreation, and I soon became obsessed. I started working at the Weber State Outdoor Program and found a strong community of passionate recreationists, and my eyes were opened to all the beautiful places I could see in nature. Since then, I have been able to pursue professional and institutional levels of education in all of the terrain found in Utah- rock and ice climbing, backcountry skiing, whitewater, etc, as well as the industrial rope access side of climbing. Since starting to work in the industry, I have been able to find ways to give back and foster the great community that I have found in the outdoors and hope to continue to do so in the long term.
