Carmen is a policy associate for HEAL Utah where she focuses on radioactive and toxic threats. In her role as grassroots organizer with HEAL before moving to policy, she focused on engaging citizens and community members in providing resources to political activism in Utah and has carried that with her into her policy work. Carmen is a double University of Utah graduate, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science with a minor in Campaign Management and then a Master’s degree in International Affairs and Global Enterprise.
