Chris Haramoto is the current Deputy Director for Utah State Parks. Chris has served in the state park system since 2003, beginning his career as a Park Ranger at Antelope Island State Park. He was promoted to Park Manager at Hyrum State Park in Cache County. After serving at Hyrum, he was promoted to manage East Canyon & Lost Creek State Parks. Chris later served as the North Region Manager before assuming his current role as Deputy Director. His focus is on increasing access and encouraging broad participation in the Utah State Park Division by removing barriers and creating pathways for all people to visit state parks.
