Ginger Myers is a dedicated recreation professional who has grown up in the world of recreation and has a degree in Health and Exercise Science. She began her career working part time in Clinton City at 15 years old and has been working full time in community municipal recreation for the past 16 years. She has been working for Ogden City for the 6 years in various roles Recreation supervisor, Golden Hours Senior Center supervisor and currently Recreation Facilities Coordinator witch she oversees, Marshall N. White Community Center, Golden Hours Senior Recreation Center, and Lorin Farr Pool. She recently took on a dilapidated senior center and found a way to bring new energy, create community partnerships, and add new technology to transform Golden hours Senior Recreation Center. Ginger has a strong desire to provide quality recreational experiences for her community and feels that community partnerships and professional development are keys to her success. Ginger was an active part of (URPA) Utah Recreation Parks Association ’s inaugural Leadership Academy and serves as an ambassador for new and upcoming professionals.
