Mary Murdock Meyer was born and raised on the Uinta Valley Indian Reservation established by Abraham Lincoln in 18861 and solidified by Congress in 1864. She is a direct descendant of Turiananchi, the great recorded in 1776 by Fathers Dominguez and Escalante. She is currently the Chief Executive of the Timpanogos Nation and was recently nominated by an Inter-Tribal group and honored with the Title of Native American Global Ambassador of Peace. “Our people have suffered a great holocaust since 1850, it is my responsibility to let people know we are still here and to right the wrongs of the past. We cannot be forgotten. We all share Mother Earth and need to remember when enjoying her beauty to be respectful and Thankful for what she has to offer.”
