Tracy Meier has been working in the adaptive recreation industry for over 22 years. After graduating from East Carolina University, she joined the National Ability Center (NAC) team as an intern and has continued her career with NAC in a variety of roles. She is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist who loves to work with people supporting them to reach their goals and enjoy the lifelong benefits of recreation. Her career has been built on advocacy, empowerment, and inclusion with a focus on what people can do. She is a certified therapeutic riding instructor, a PSIA adaptive level 3 ski instructor and an examiner for Intermountain. Tracy has presented at a variety of trainings and conferences over the years including local, national, and international events. She developed an exchange training program developing an Adaptive Ski program with instructors in South Korea. Tracy met her husband Monte, a 5-time Paralympian, during the 2002 games and they currently reside in Midway, Utah with their 3 active children and loving dog.
