Sarah Hodson graduated with Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Community Health Education from Utah State University. Ms. Hodson worked for the Arthritis Foundation, Greater Chicago Chapter for five years as the Director of Health Promotion. She was an adjunct instructor in the Health Sciences Department at Brigham Young University from 2009-2013 and worked as the Communications Development Manager for Mountainlands Community Health Center in Provo. Since October 2015, Ms. Hodson has served as the Executive Director of Get Healthy Utah, a collaborative effort focused on improving health in Utah by supporting healthy eating and active living. Get Healthy Utah uses a multi-sector approach to align efforts and partnerships throughout the state to see better results, specifically focusing on changes that create equitable opportunities to ensure improved health and wellness for all Utahns. Ms. Hodson currently serves on a number of workgroups and committees including the Healthy Salt Lake Steering Committee, Wasatch Choice 2050 Workgroup, Harvard School of Public Health CHOICE Grant Team, State Nutrition Action Coalition, and the Utah Action for Healthy Kids Network.
